Mentoring

Beamans offers a range of options to enable new pratitioners to acquire the range of skills required to operate independently as JEGS analysts without placing a significant burden on internal resources.

Show and go

Target Group: This is designed for newly trained analysts looking for more of a steer on how to manage an interview to gather and record relevant job details. It offers the chance to observe and then to lead one or more interviews knowing there is an experienced analyst in the room to give support and feedback and to contribute to the write up.

Dual control

Target Group: This is designed for newly trained analysts, who are experienced and competent interviewers in other contexts. Although confident in their interviewing technique, they would like to have an experienced analyst in the room for their first interview to ensure that all aspects of the job are covered, to provide feedback and to contribute to the write up.

Validation

Target Group: From time to time we run refresher courses for people who are experienced analysts but have not practised for some time. For these people we offer a straightforward validation service in which an experienced analyst quality assures the first interview and write-up.

Remote mentoring

Target Group: Aimed at newly trained JEGS analysts with no access to support locally. This option gives access to advice about JEGS interviewing and evaluation from experienced practitioners.
